So we survived the flooding in Evergreen and went up today to check the lakes for fishing. Picked Green Mountain and water was clear and fishing is only getting hotter from here on out. We caught 27 fish (4 lakers, 1 brown and the rest were Rainbow Trout) We were dodging light thunderstorms on the lake and when one of them passed left the mountain peak white. Well, that means winter is close and the season will end soon. As the water temps cool more, the fishing will keep getting better. So don't wait any longer before booking a trip before you miss out.
