Was back to Clear Creek reservoir today and could not have been better. This couple smoked everyone else on the lake fishing. They ended up catching 49 rainbow trout and only kept 2 for their dinner that night. So 47 were released back to the wild to grow a little bigger for the next person. Great job you two and glad it was such a wonderful trip.

Awesome day up at Clear Creek Reservoir. Had a Father son team out for the day and was Dads second trip with me in the last 3 weeks. We had a blast and could not have been a better day. Not sure how many fish they caught, somewhere arounf upper 30's? in 4 hours. Having so much fun and we kept loosing count. Thanks guys for letting me hang with you again and really enjoyed the day.

Went back up to Green Mountain to see how the lake was doing and water temps are dropping and fishing was fair. We caught 9 rainbows in the 11"-14" range and really pretty colors on them. Wanted to see if the salmon were moving over to the inlet since snagging season starts on the first. But did not see anything over there. So guessing its a little early yet. Was still a great day on the lake and really enjoyed the company of these gentleman. Not much beats a day on a lake. Thanks guys for a wonderful day.

Todays trip included a fishing trip and wildlife adventure. Had an awesome day with these two on Lake Granby and also went for a short bit on Shadow Mountain Lake as well. For anyone wanting that update, Shadow Mtn is extremely weedy and surface water temp was 71 degrees *NOT GOOD* So fishing was pretty bad there. They did catch one and enough greens to feed an army. So stick with Grand Lake out of the 2. They did end up with 9 trout total, not a great day but still fun, they still did better then anyone else on the lake. Plus got to see a couple Moose and small herd of Antelope on the trip. Yes, that is a Moose behind them.
