Went with a family friend who brought his 3 grandsons on a trip up to Clear Creek Reservoir and could not have asked for a better day. The three cousins caught 59 fish, most being rainbow trout and 2 were Kokanee Salmon. They kept 2 of the fish and the rest were returned for another happy fisherman to catch. Everyone left with big smiles on their faces and appreciate them joining me for another Colorado Fishing Adventure. Thanks for a great day guys!

Was privileged to be the one with him as he caught his very first trout and then he just kept going and ended up catching 26 fish on his four hour trip up at Turquoise Lake. Congratulations and awesome job! Really enjoyed spending the day with you on the lake.

Here is my personal fishing update for the year so far. I have only been out 17 times and have caught 492 trout giving me an avergae of 29 fish a trip. Not too bad but need to get out and fish more.

I went up to Green Mountain to give that a shot with a buddy and the lake is only 5 feet low compared to almost 50 feet a few months ago. I do not remember last time the lake was this full. The fishing was slow today, we did catch a couple but not like it usually is. With water temps at 66 degrees and such a change in the lake conditions in such a short time, I think that this lake will have to wait till the fall when temps drop down a bit.
