So with today being such a beautiful Colorado day. Had a couple hours extra this morning so went out with another guy fishing at Colorado Georgetown Lake. Ended up with 26 fish between the both of us all averaging 12" - 15" and were all Brown and Rainbow Trout. So was a great way to start the day.

Anyone that wants to go on a Colorado Fishing charter and just catch a bunch of fish, I know one of the lakes they just stocked, usually are around 10-12 inch trout. Makes for a great fish fry and last time I found out about something like this, I ended up catching 105 trout in 7 hours personally. It is a ton of fun and you never know you might also get one of the big ones as well.

As I was checking out lake reports this morning and this weeks warm weather forcast, I believe most of the lakes will be opened up this week to boating and finally will have ice off. I do not remember the last time everything was still frozen this late. Now the problem I have, is I cant get to all the lakes fast enough.

I believe this year will be better then last year because of conditions and 2012 was a record breaking year. If you want to catch a lot of fish or target bigger ones, Spring is the time as its some of the best fishing of the year. Coming and Join us at Colorado Trout Guide.

Went up to Taryall Colorado again today with 2 other gentlemen and between the 3 of us caught 117 Rainbow Trout ranging from 9" - 13". One of the guys brought in a 41-1/2 inch, 17 pound Northern Pike. So overall another great day of Colorado fishing.
