Had a trip out with a father and son team and they ended up with 15 in a 4 hour slot at Tarryall Res. All rainbows that were stocker size. Was still nice weather for just having a couple inches of snow yesterday. Tarryall will be closing this sunday and Spinney and Eleven Mile close Oct. 31 so you are running out of time if you want to get out on the boat this year. Last weekend went to Eleven mile and fish were far and few between but when we did hook into them they were all 16″ + and very FAT.

There was me and a couple buddies that went up to Turquoise Lake and we did pretty well. Did not get any lakers but did end up catching 82 trout. So if you are headed that way it is doing great!

Got back from an absolute incredible trip to Alaska with my best friend, Lyle. Loved seeing my sis and meeting her boyfriend. Thank you Debbie Larson and Richard for making our trip even better. Fishing was incredible and just got me craving Alaska even more. Here are some Silver and Red Salmon all 24″-32″ range.

We went out with some friends today for some fishing and one of the brothers and his family are from Italy and the other from Colorado. So we had to have a friendly competition between the American boat and the Italian boat. Sadly I have to report the Italians won on the other boat. Between us both caught 94 fish. Was a fun day by all.

Today was out with a father and son team who has made this a second outing with us. In a 4 hour trip they ended up catching 37 trout and the son, he caught the first, biggest (14″) and most for the day at 25. Awesome job and loved spending the day with you both again, Thank You!

Family outing with Dad and his 2 kids and daughter-in-law. Could not ask for much better conditions. Calm waters, blue clear ski and of course some great fishing. Ended up catching 57 fish for the day. Thanks for a great day guys.

Todays trip was a huge success and a record breaker. Did a 6 hour trip with Tom and Phyllis and they brought in 72 fish. New all time record for most fish ever. Was a blast of a day and enjoyed their company. Phyllis has won the title of “The Fish Slayer” when she herself brought in 42 fish. Awesome job to you guys. Happy 4th of July to you and Thank you so much.

Two of us went up to Turquoise Lake for the first time of the season. In 6 hours there was 75 fish caught between 2 people. Few Lakers and mostly nice healthy Rainbow Trout. Everything from 7″-16.” Another great day on the lake. The lure of choice was the Taz Pink Panther and Tequila Sunrise patterns. 

31 inch Lake Trout caught in Lake Granby. This day brought in 40 fish with this guy being the monster of the day.  He was returned back to the water for someone like you to catch again. 

Was at Grand Lake for a few hours fishing with a good friend visiting from Florida and a new friend visiting CO for the first time. He is showing off his very first trout. We ended up catching 18 fish and even got chased of the lake from a little lightning storm, but all was well and had a blast.
