The second part of the day was over at Clear Creek Reservoir with this awesome family. Had a blast spending the weekend with the Hanneman family. In 4 hours they caught 23 trout. Mom brought in the first big trout at 19-1/2" Then the son took the title away when he caught a nice 22" Rainbow. Had a blast and glad you guys did such a great job catching all those fish. I think they now have the fishing bug. He caught the big trout on a 7 gram Canberra Killer "tas"
Back to Turquoise Lake and today was with a great bunch of guys out experiencing many true Colorado adventures. Today was a 4 hour trip were they caught 42 fish for the day. Glad you had a great trip and was my true pleasure spending the day with you. Thank you for letting me be a part of your adventures.
Today was a 6 hour trip to Turquoise Reservoir with an awesome couple on their second adventure with me. Ended up catching 23 trout for the day. Had a friendly competition and she ended up pulling ahead at the end catching one more then he did. Thank you for letting me be apart of your Colorado vacation again.
Three of us went to Green Mountain Reservoir today for the 1st time of the season. I am guessing the lake is rising 2 feet a day so making fishing a little challenging. We ended up catching 11 for the day. 2 rainbows and the rest were small lakers. Ramp inspector said we caught the most on the lake. Lure of choice was the Tasmanian Devil Green Grenade. Just another great day on Green Mtn.
Today was a trip to Turquoise Lake, It finally opened yesterday for boats, so wanted to get up asap. There was Lyle, Glen and I that fished for 4-1/2 hours and caught 48 fish. Biggest being 16" and catching them on all colors of the "Taz" (anything with gold color seemed to be favored)
So if you are ready to get out of the heat and come catch some trout with us, this is the place to go right now.
