Day 3 was to Continental Lake and was by far the best Colorado fishing we have had on this trip. Was a varity of fish from Splake, Brook, Rainbow and Cutthroats all averaging 16" and were all great fighters. Only made one pass around the lake and then the game warden came down and evacuated us off the lake because of the West Fork Complex fire. With just the one pass three of us caught 44 trout. Wish we could have made a longer day of it but was still a fun day. Hoping the fire crews can get a handle on this fire before it gets to much bigger, think it is at 39,000 acres. What we could use is a good rain storm to help battle all the fires we have in the state.
